McCarter Theater
Why?
This theater is the only regional theater to be both a professional producing theater and a major presenter of the performing arts. This regional theater is where "Our Town" premiered, Ethan Hawke performed here as a kid, John Lithgow's dad ran the theater when John was in high school, and in recent years talent such as Kim Cattrall, Jimmy Smits, Tyne Daly, and Ben Vereen have graced the stage. Plan a tour with us, then walk less than three city blocks to see a performance at one of the most active cultural centers in the nation!
