Princeton WannaBe Blog

I'm not a real historian.   I didn't grow up in Princeton.    I don't have an Ivy League education.

I'm a total Princeton WannaBe.

Still, I gush about loving the heart of Princeton as much as I can!

File This Under "Why I Love Steve O" ....

Steve O is my hubby.  He's my favorite guy on earth.  Why?

He takes Stosh's stuffed animals on the road and sends messages to Stosh like ....

"Hershey the Dog can't read Japanese!"

(Steve is in Japan for awhile so I'll be giving Hershey the dog updates for fun!  Steve O also LOVES to eat scary food so I'm sure he'll be asking Hershey to chow down with him .... brace yourself for those posts ....)

Apparently, Reggie Bush and I Run With the Same Crowd??!! (yep!)

I JUST HIRED THE SAME SOCIAL MEDIA GURUS THAT DO THE SOCIAL MEDIA FOR REGGIE BUSH!  I KNOW!

(One of the owners of the consulting agency took a tour and his wife is getting her graduate degree from Princeton University.  I KNOW!)

Anyhoo, be watching the Princeton Tour Company Facebook Fan page to see how ACTIV8SOCIAL is going to take me from crazy tour lady to SUPER STAR SOCIAL MEDIA STATUS!

(Yes, is the best photo I've ever taken in my life and, no, Activ8Social won't let it be my profile pic ....... something about being "authentic" is important in social media ..... I guess that means Reggie Bush really looks that awesome in person!)

Did You Know the Curve Ball Pitch Was Invented by a Princeton University Student?

It's TRUE!  Joseph Mann was the first  pitcher to use the clever curve ball in a college game!

(Well, he saw Candy Cummings do it in a professional game then ....)

He came back to school and perfected the curve ball by throwing the ball down the hallways of his dorm in Princeton!  A few people were injured but said it was worth it!

ALL TRUE!

(Now, I don't know if he was a member of Cottage Club - pictured here - I just like the photo and maybe it'll remind people that we do bike tours - on-your-own and escorted!  It's a great way to live and visit in Princeton!)
