Because Rouge is holding a fashion walk at the plaza outside the Princeton Public Library and 10% of all Rouge sales will be donated to the Library!
(Tyra Banks would LOVE a retailer that thinks that way so I hope she hears about it and shows up!)

That was the crazy title to one of the speakers for TEDWomen today. (Yes, the speaker's a bit of a "shock jock" and, yes, I would do a road trip with her.)
The local TEDWomen event at the Princeton Public Library got me thinking about two women that mentored me in business - Jill Strickland and Cindy Brams.
(We're photo'd together here in 1994.)
Congrats to all the speakers tonight and thanks for stirring some GREAT memories of WHY I'd follow certain women anywhere!
(Was it me or did anyone notice the PPL is the center of inspiration for ALOT of small businesses in Princeton?)

Princeton Public Library Raised 10 Million Dollars! How Did They Do That in This Economy!

In my opinion, they EARNED it by being committed to their mission and constituents.
There's a reason Princeton kids prefer to hang out at a library rather than a mall ...... it's the staff and programs at our Library.
There's a reason Princeton seniors prefer to live in Princeton rather than Florida ..... it's the staff and programs at our Library.
There's a reason why their gala attracted donations and attendance from Princeton University's Entreprenuer in Residence, Nobel Prize Winners and Pulitzer Prize Winners .... it's the staff and programs at our Library.
There's a reason I call the Library our 3rd home .... it's the staff and programs at our Library.
