Princeton Magazine is offering $300 to the child with the winning artwork for the cover of their November issue!
The contest is available to any and all NJ& PA students grades 2 through 6 !
Deadline for entries is September 22, 2010 so you still have time to hire a tudor!

Happy Birthday Cameron Diaz! YOU Went to Princeton ???
Nope, but her character in Something About Mary graduated from Princeton!
Doogie Howzer MD claimed he graduated at the age of 13 (Which, wierdly, was about the same age Benjamen Rush graduated – he was the youngest to ever graduate from Princeton!), Carlton from the Fresh Prince of BelAir, Alex Keaton of Family Ties went here, Cecil Tirwilliger of the Simpsons went to Princeton, Bruce Wayne which was shown in Batman Begins but he dropped out to fight crime….
I know it's Cameron's birthday but Jack Donaghy is my favorite! WHY? He's the fictional character on 30 Rock went to Princeton ….. (you know, he’s the guy who is VP of East Coast Television and Microwave Oven Programming for General Electric ……) His character went to Princeton and said he worked the day shift at the graveyard and the graveyard shift at the Days Inn ….. He even says he and Michelle were classmates….after graduating from Princeton his character went to Harvard and became a swan boat operator !!!!!

They took a two hour walking tour with moi and have plans to return to Princeton to see one of the HOT productions at McCarter Theater this fall!
Congrats you two cutie pies. We LOVED showing off our town to you today!

Okay, The Crazy Tour Lady Has NO Politics .... But If She Did ...
She'd give a shout out to the New Jersey Young Democrats!
WHY? They were smart enough to book a walking tour of Princeton with us!
These bright-eyed young smartypants saw all the essential buildings on campus (including some famous folks' dorm room windows), the hangouts of Woodrow Wilson, Grover Cleveland, Bill Bradley, Adlai Stevenson, Bill Frist, Rumsfeld, James Baker, Eliot Spitzer, Ralph Nader, Michelle, Sonia and Elena! (and Patreus too ....oh anyhoo .....)
You get it, we make sure your group sees everything YOU want to see!
to be truthful about my politics ......
C'mon, Sipprelle lives in Grover Cleveland's pad and Holt is a real rocket scientist ....
no matter which guy wins the tour just got better!

August 28th Ghost Tour Will Include Certified Medium and Paranormal Investigators ....
I was lucky enough to be invited to a Wierd NJ investigation in Princeton Cemetery last night ....
Here's a shot of a pro asking John Witherspoon about his opinion of Shirley .....
(Yes, we got a voice recording and, to lay all fears to rest, he digs her!)
Next Saturday we're trying out Evelyn and Terry - both investigators and mediums. Each guest gets ghost hunting equipment and stories of Princeton you won't believe are true ...... but they ARE!

It took my super star family to figure out that Massimos Pizza (the pizza place with all the IQ, Beautiful Mind and Transformers II stuff on the wall ......) is moving from Nassau Street to ........well.......
Pictured here are the three cuties who broke the story .... my sister Alice, my brother-in-law Sam and my sweetie niece ... Elise!
So Massimo's is moving to where Jake's "Life if Good" was on Nassau Street!

Okay, Robert did a GREAT job playing F. Scott Fitzgerald in The Great Gatsby but that's not why he loves Princeton University .....
Robert Redford loves Princeton because Eric Schlosser studied history at Princeton University and later married his daughter!
(Eric is that author known for investigative journalism, such as in his books Fast Food Nation, Reefer Madness and Chew On This.)

Even on Vacation, We Can't Leave Princeton!
We are BACK from our small-but-sweet getaway with Stosh-A-Roo.
After a long weekend visit to Hershey Park we made it out to Philly for the open-air bus tour, visit to the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall .... where Princeton is mentioned about the Revolutionary War.
Did you know ....... the president of the Milton Hershey School in Hershey, Pa. graduated from Princeton in 1965? AND he was a running back on the undefeated 1964 Princeton football team! When you check into the Hershey Hotel, the whole place is about Milton Hershey. They play a video about the history of Hershey ...... I actually recognized John O'Brien in the video when he spoke about the Hershey School because he's in Princeton all the time! I KNOW!

Happy Birthday David Cosby! THANKS for Keeping Dylan in the Center Lane When He Visited Princeton!
When Bob Dylan came to receive an Honorary Degree at Princeton, David Crosby was with him. Dylan felt like backing out of the speech (he had just turned 30, and it was he who said 'do not trust anyone over 30 ). Crosby reminded Dylan that the reason he had decided to attend was that he could tell his mom that he finally got a degree!

Famed Reiki Master Sister is Headed to My House??!!
On Monday, my famed-Reiki-Master sister and her hubby Sam Fink are headed to Princeton to spend a few days together.
YES, Stosh and I are planning to prank my sister. Why? Because I LIVE to embarrass her, make her laugh and/or make her NEVER forget she has a baby sister!
Since Stosh doesn't have any brothers or sisters she graciously agrees to take on all the abuse we can throw her way ..... including posting this ridiculous photo of her on a suburban throne ....
This visit, she can plan on mixed use of vaseline on doorknobs, rubber snakes in purses, plastic ice cubes with insects "frozen" inside and the dreaded taped kitchen faucet ....
(Take a tour and I'll tell you all about the time I dug a hole and tricked her into running into it ..... Stick around after the bikes are put away and I'll tell you how she predicted the tour biz would make my heart sing ..... She's decent at this Reiki Master gig too but that's too nice for this blog post .....)

Did You Know the Curve Ball Pitch Was Invented by a Princeton University Student?
It's TRUE! Joseph Mann was the first pitcher to use the clever curve ball in a college game!
(Well, he saw Candy Cummings do it in a professional game then ....)
He came back to school and perfected the curve ball by throwing the ball down the hallways of his dorm in Princeton! A few people were injured but said it was worth it!
ALL TRUE!
(Now, I don't know if he was a member of Cottage Club - pictured here - I just like the photo and maybe it'll remind people that we do bike tours - on-your-own and escorted! It's a great way to live and visit in Princeton!)
