I'm not a real historian. I didn't grow up in Princeton. I don't have an Ivy League education.
I'm a total Princeton WannaBe.
Still, I gush about loving the heart of Princeton as much as I can!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY WOODROW WILSON!
Everyone knows he was a stellar student at Princeton University, then a dynamite Princeton University President then Govenor of New Jersey and then President of the United States.
Did you know he signed women the right to vote on Chambers Street? TRUE!
(In the Glenmede building - it used to be the firehouse .......)
Did you know Woodrow Wilson and Mark Twain had the same taste in women?
Here they are in Bermuda fawning over Mary Peck in Bermuda. Mark Twain was a frequent guest in Princeton. I can only imagine their conversations about Princeton back then.
Woodrow Wilson was one serious guy and more than anyone I've studied, he would want any true account of his life to be thorough -
the good and the ......
not so perfect.
Once you study him, you won't look at Princeton University, feminism or our national/global economics the same way EVER again!
(Our walking tour is sold out today but you can bet our customers will walk away knowing alot more than they imagined they could learn in 2 short hours!
Did you know he had grape juice and a raw egg for breakfast every morning?
Upset you missed our Birthday Tour for Woody today? The 2012 calendar will be up on January 2nd. Be sure to reserve your spots early and plan on seeing the Princeton you NEVER knew existed!
