Princeton WannaBe Blog

I'm not a real historian.   I didn't grow up in Princeton.    I don't have an Ivy League education.

I'm a total Princeton WannaBe.

Still, I gush about loving the heart of Princeton as much as I can!

Today, Only FOREVER Ago

Today, James Joyce moved to Paris and his 1915 novel, Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man, brought him fame and the patronage of several wealthy people, including Edith Rockefeller!!!!

(OMG!  If you have NOT fallen in love with Edith Rockefeller yet, you really HAVE to check out this link:)

Seriously?  Edith Rockefeller was once married to King Tut?  (Of course, that was AFTER she was treated by Carl Jung .... LOVE IT! )

In 2012, plan on taking a Literary Greats tour and we'll break down WHY Mark Twain, F. Scott, Ezra Pound, Gertrude Stein and all the Lost Generation found their way to Princeton!
