Princeton WannaBe

Okay, Today We Have a Girl Raised in Backyard Sheds, Hurricane Danny and an Angry Granny Hits TV Crew with a Hoe ...

As Headlines .........on August 28th, in 1917 ...... history books calmly explain Woodrow Wilson was picketed by angry suffragists:

"According to the Library of Congress’ American Memory archives, Wilson rode out of the White House gates on the morning of August 28 with his wife at his side and tipped his hat toward the protestors as usual. By this time, though, the suffragists had become increasingly disruptive and brandished anti-World War I slogans on their placards in addition to pleas for the vote and later that day the protestors and outraged bystanders who supported the war clashed. Many of the women were arrested and placed n jail. Some of the jailed suffragists went on a hunger strike and were force-fed by their captors."

What would today's headlines say about this event?

FOX NEWS:  Women RIOT in response to well-mannered President Wilson

CNN NEWS:  Women "Go All Monkey" on President Wilson for Treating Them Like Animals Who Can't Think Enough to Vote

TMZ:  Ellen Has HAD IT With ALL Woody's Women!

Don't know about Woodrow's women?

(People actually speculated about his first wife's death .......I'm not saying he would have kept one in the backyard but, well, he had ideas about where women belonged for sure!)

You really gotta take a President's Tour with Warren ...... He'll break down what happened before, during and after Woodrow's 25 years in Princeton, New Jersey!

Of course, there's today's headline:  John Mayer Offered $25,000 for Police Mug Shot ........(but I think that was his PR firm trying to keep in the news since he isn't dating any hot women in Hollywood right now.......maybe the "bad guy" image will help?????? http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/years/2009/0827091mayer1.html
